ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Round Trip Death has released a new interview with U.S. Air Force veteran and speaker Dr. Chase Skylar DeMayo, featuring a near-death experience the show is promoting on YouTube as “Best NDE of 2026!”

In the newly released episode, host Eric Bennett speaks with DeMayo about the cardiac arrest he experienced while serving in the U.S. Air Force at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

DeMayo was 20 years old when, on April 1, 2008, he went into cardiac arrest. He describes an experience of overwhelming love and peace, along with an encounter with someone he understood to be Jesus.

What followed proved nearly as significant as the experience itself.

For approximately 12 years, DeMayo largely kept what happened to himself, concerned about how others might perceive his account. He eventually began speaking publicly about the experience and the profound shift in perspective that followed.

Today, DeMayo’s message is intentionally simple: find joy, spread laughter and recognize the value of the life happening right now.

“My story will always be free,” DeMayo said. “You do not have to buy a book, pay to hear me speak or purchase a course to hear what happened to me. If something I experienced helps another person find more joy in being alive, then sharing it is worth it.”

The new Round Trip Death conversation gives audiences an opportunity to hear that story in depth while introducing listeners to Bennett’s growing collection of firsthand conversations about near-death experiences.

DeMayo said promoting the episode is also an opportunity to recognize the platform Bennett has created for people willing to discuss experiences that can be deeply personal and difficult to articulate.

“Eric gives people the space to tell these stories without trying to tell them what their experience means,” DeMayo said. “I hope people come for my story, but stay and discover Round Trip Death and the many extraordinary conversations he has created.”

The full interview, titled “I Just Knew It Was Jesus,” was released September 8 and is available through Round Trip Death, YouTube and major podcast platforms.
